A little clarity

The details, answered.

What does an AxonRing NFC smart ring do?

AxonRing uses a passive NFC chip to open a saved web link or contact page on a compatible phone. With the right setup, it can also trigger iOS Shortcuts or Android Tasker automations.

Does an NFC ring need a battery or subscription?

The passive NFC ring does not need a battery or charging, and reading a saved web link does not require an AxonRing subscription. Third-party apps or services may have their own fees.

Do I need an app to use the ring?

Writing a new NFC record requires a compatible NFC writing app. Recipients can open a saved web link with a compatible NFC-enabled phone without installing an AxonRing app. Automation setup varies by device.

Can this ring make contactless card payments?

The current AxonRing NFC concept opens links and contact pages. It does not make card-terminal payments and does not contain health sensors or GPS.

Can I buy an AxonRing today?

This page collects early-access interest. No payment or deposit is collected. Final product details, sizing, availability and checkout information will be confirmed before purchase.
